Barbara Śmietana the Netherlands, B2B relations, cross-market discussions

Who am I

I operate from the Netherlands and connect Polish business with the right conversations.

My name is Barbara Śmietana. For 16 years I have been living and developing my professional career in the Netherlands. I started with physical work, learned the language, got to know the work culture and step by step built my own position as an entrepreneur.

Today I run Polsolide, a company that organises employee accommodation in the Netherlands, and I am developing my personal brand, which helps Polish entrepreneurs better understand the Dutch market, B2B relations and real opportunities for cooperation.

Between the markets

I understand the Polish entrepreneurial energy and the Dutch expectation of practicality, transparency and accountability.

The proper conversation

I don't start with a random contact list. First, I check the objective, the argument, and who really needs to sit down for the conversation.

Who for

This analysis makes sense when the decision depends on the market, location and the right conversations.

I work with clients who aren't looking for general inspiration, but practical insight: where to enter, who to talk to, and whether a given direction has real business potential.

In figures

Specifically, one that streamlines the decision.

In my work, experience, the right context, and calm conversation management are the most important things. Numbers organise what usually determines the quality of entering a new market.

Goal, context, and conversations: a simple structure that separates an opportunity from a casual contact.

Direction

To initiate a conversation that makes business sense and could pave the way for the next step.

Markets and opportunities

I look at business through places, people and the flow of decisions.

International cooperation does not happen in a vacuum. Behind every conversation lie locations, infrastructure, the supply chain, capital, real estate, and people who have the ability to accelerate or halt a project.

Therefore in the area markets and investment I combine potential analysis with practical insight: where it is worth talking, with whom to initiate contact, and how to prepare the company for entering a new business environment.

How I assess potential

First I check if the conversation has a business weight.

Not every opportunity requires immediate action. Before I connect the parties, I clarify the objective, check the environment and assess whether contact can translate into real traffic for the company, investment or partnership.

Goal

I determine what the client is really looking for: a market, a partner, a location, an investor, or entry into a specific conversation.

Context

I am looking at the market, infrastructure, local dependencies, company readiness and conditions that can help or block the project.

Conversations

If I see potential, I prepare the initial contact so that the first conversation is concrete, calm and credible.
