Selection of opportunities
I help to check which business opportunities in the Netherlands are worth the energy and which only sound good at the start of the conversation.
In business development, it is easy to confuse an opportunity with a distraction. That is why I look at potential, the partner, the timing of entry, risk, and whether the matter has a realistic path to a decision.
If the topic concerns expansion, I connect it with entering the Dutch market; if it concerns the relationship, I check the partners and decision-makers.
Opportunity selection
Not every chance is a decision.
Something is looking promising
There is a lead, a contact or a topic, but the answer as to whether there is real business potential behind it is missing.
Discretion is required
Not every possibility is worth communicating widely right away. Sometimes, the strength lies in quiet recognition and the right language.
The decision is not straightforward
The company needs to hear whether to proceed, change the model, refine the offer or put the matter on hold for now.
Business filter
I am introducing a business filter.
Filter
I separate the opportunity from the noise: goal, partner, market, scale, cost of energy and probable next step.
Context
I am matching the topic with the appropriate market, e.g. location in the Netherlands or a market entry service.
Decision
I help to name it, decide whether to develop the topic, narrow it down, test it through conversation, or prepare it differently.
Nearest destinations
Chance must lead to a decision.
Market entry
When the opportunity first requires verification of the Dutch market.
B2B projects
When the subject depends on several parties and the right order of conversations.
Networking
When a reconnaissance chat with the right person is needed.
Partners
When it is worth seeing the broader context of cooperation.
Result of the analysis
Energy is going into the right subjects.
The company wastes no time on illusory opportunities and knows which possibilities are worth developing on the Dutch side.
It's not about a flashy list of occasions. It's about the courage of selectionsometimes the best decision is to go in harder, and sometimes not to go in at all yet.
